Texts

The only three writings directly related to Guerrilla Gardening that we know of will be published this year. Two of them can be ordered in advance (e.g. with Amazon).

Richard Reynolds: On Guerrilla Gardening (Bloomsbury, july? 2007)

David Tracey: Guerrilla Gardening - A Manualfesto (New Society Publishers, april 2007)

Julia Jahnke: GartenPiraten - Guerrilla Gardening als globales Phänomen (here)

Then there is one book titled Guerrilla Gardening by Barbara Pallenberg, but it is about how to get beautiful and expensive plants for private gardens for free (by secretly making clippings and taking seeds), so it is kind of the opposite of what we have in mind …

There are many books about urban gardening, urban agriculture, urban farming, urban ecology, and last not least a wide range of “traditional” garden books… Here only the beginning of a list:

Elisabeth Meyer-Renschhausen + Anne Holl (Hg.): Die Wiederkehr der Gärten (Studienverlag 2000)

Elisabeth Meyer-Renschhausenet al.: Die Gärten der Frauen (Centaurus-Verlag 2002)
